This collaborative project with Sara Lin and Rosie Martinez researches the problem of food deserts in underprivileged communities like the south side of Chicago. The end goal was to create a mockup resource exhibition room at Wendell Phillips Academy High School with projects from our Interaction Design class. Conversations with these students at the high school, coupled with our secondary research, led us to redesign a traditional food pantry.
With health and budget in mind, we created take-in to serve as an organized source for access to low-cost, highly nutritious food as well as recipes. I created the informational poster as well as the food truck graphic while my peers illustrated the icons, presentations, and website in Figma.
