This collaborative research project with Eemaan Butt and Sara Lin was created with the prompt “Designing for Peace.” We are all Asian American students, so we decided to research the Model Minority Myth.
After two rounds of community interviews, we decided to make a museum exhibition featuring a historical timeline, interviewees, data analysis, and visitor response. I created our style guide as well as our “face wall” which was created to show visitors that real people- your peers- are affected by the Model Minority Myth.
